Pharrell Williams Has Been Named Louis Vuitton Menswear Creative Director

Pharrell Williams, an American singer and fashion entrepreneur, has been appointed creative director of Louis Vuitton menswear. Until to his retirement in November 2021, Virgil Abloh held the position. It's only the second time in the French luxury house's history that a Black American designer has held the position of head designer.“I am glad to welcome Pharrell back home, after our collaborations in 2004 and 2008 for Louis Vuitton, as our new men’s artistic director,” Mr. Beccari said in the brand’s statement on Instagram. “His creative vision beyond fashion will undoubtedly lead Louis Vuitton toward a new and very exciting chapter.”
